The Slider Band
An exciting South Shore based rock cover band, including some of the area’s best musicians with decades of live performance and studio experience.
Slider performs a unique, interesting and fun mix of rock covers that appeals to people of all ages. Led by Scott Lambert, the band’s lead singer and front man, Slider gets the crowd dancing and moving to the beat for a night of great entertainment. Scott’s outstanding vocal range is supported by the steady and powerful rhythm section of Joe Jackman (drums) and Clayton Young (bass). Rick Mosher, one of the area’s best guitarists and superb local keyboardist, Jim Gambino round out the melody with flexible techniques and often explosive styles that completes the band’s sound.
Members of Slider have played together for 30 years in many different bands including, local original acts, Swinging Steaks, Jon Cate and the Van Gough Brothers and various local cover bands including, The Limit and Local Joes. Slider’s experience creates a melodic, tight sound that creates a great night out for all audiences
